I've been on the hunt for a signature smell. I want to be one of those people who has a scent associated with them, like my grandma - she's been wearing the same perfume for years, and everytime she's been around or been near something it smells like grandma, I associate it with her, and I love her to bits so of course this a good thing. Anyway - during my hunt for the perfect smell I have decided to test VIVA LA JUICY by juicy couture:

I bought VIVA LA JUICY  in superdrug. I was drawn to the typical Juicy Couture bottle with its fuchsia pink ribbon and JC charms, within a sweet pink & gold box (sad, I know) and when I got a whiff of its floral, slightly sweet scent I couldn't resist it trying it out! Its scent is described as " a gourmet floral fragrance, which opens with notes of wild berries and juicy mandarin. The heart encompasses a floral blend of honeysuckle, gardenia and jasmine, while the base notes await us with a gourmet rhapsody of amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood and pralines."

I bought a 30ml bottle initially just as a this was a trial - it cost £33.99 but I got it for around £30 with my 10% student discount - but not only that, it came with these cute little accessories! A Juicy Couture travel make up bag, a Ticket holder (very handy for me as im always losing my bus ticket to work!) and a mini travel bottle of VIVA LA JUICY (which works out to be about a fivers worth of perfume woo) can't really go wrong with that"

The scent does change slightly as it wears on your skin, it sort of deepens and becomes more floral than sweet. The final verdict however is slightly disappointing as I find the smell doesn't last long at all, I had to re apply 3/4 times a day :( & on top of that it built up a weird greasy layer on my neck (maybe I went a little overboard with it?! haha)

After about a weeks worth of use I actually found I became almost immune to the smell altogether so I think I will have to use it less often, so I don't get too used to the smell. All in all though, the bottle is beautiful, the smell (when it lasts!) is lush and something I'd be proud to have as my signature scent - however, it doesn't last enough for me. Alas, the hunt continues, but for now I will happily smell like VIVA LA JUICY.
